Valentine’s is here, and while it may be too late for a last-minute delivery, we’re fully in the mood for romance with our champagne stockings and their striking lipstick red seam. At What Katie Did, stockings aren’t just for special occasions: with the right underpinnings, they’re comfortable and secure enough to wear every day.
So what’s the story?
Our Lipstick Red Seamed Stockings were the first colourful seams we introduced over 20 years ago, and they’ve been turning heads ever since. A sheer champagne leg paired with a bold red seam creates instant retro drama: perfect with florals, all-black, or classic nautical styling. Made in Italy from soft 15 denier nylon with a touch of stretch, they’re as comfortable as they are iconic.
Worn here with our peach corselette, you’ll enjoy smooth shaping beneath even the slinkiest gown. With its traditional front fastening, firm waist tape, powermesh body and satin tummy panel, it offers vintage-inspired control without boning or discomfort. Six metal suspender clips keep your stockings perfectly in place, just as they would have in the 1950s.
With Spring on the horizon, perhaps it’s time to swap dependable black for something a little lighter — and a lot more fun. 💕

We always try to keep our returns policy as fair and flexible as possible. Unfortunately, ongoing US import tariffs mean we’re unable to reclaim duties on returned orders, and these costs are no longer something we can absorb.
As a result, for US customers only, orders placed after 1st February 2026 will incur a restocking fee if refunded. We’re very happy to offer store credit for the full value as an alternative, which can be used at any time.
